Lamps for Ain’t Misbehavin’

During the show Ain’t Misbehavin’, I collaborated with the Scenic Designer Nadirah Muhammad to create candle-like centerpieces for tables onstage.

These were creating using some older PCBs I had designed the year earlier that were now obsolete. The design utilized a PIC16f15325 microcontroller, a single MOSFET, and a capacitor on the gate of the MOSFET that enabled smooth easily-programmed candle-like dimming. All the source-code for this project was hand written in XC8, the PIC variant of C.
